DIGITAL DESIGN

Digital Design page consist of five sections.

In the first section, you will remember the numeral systems which is a basic principle of digital design.

In the second section the simple logic gates are described and illustrated with examples. You can see the synthesizable VHDL codes and simulation result of each example.

In the third and fourth section, you will learn how to implement latches and flip-flops which are the most common sequential elements used in digital design.

The last section presents a brief introduction to synchronous sequential circuits. You will learn the basic principles and behaviors of finite state machine which is the most common method used in FPGA programming.
