Simply, logic gates are the building structures of digital circuits which are used in every electronics hardware like computers, digital watches, televisions, cell phones...

All digital circuits consist of primitive gates like AND, NAND, NOR and INVERTER. This section presents you how to create complex electronic circuitss from these elementary gates.  

Each page describes a different logic gate and shows how to implement it with VHDL. In each exapmle, a simulation plot is also included to make you imagine how that code operates.
